The following are the requirements that you must meet to be able to apply for a Danish Startup visa.

- How capable is the applicant or team?
- Does the business fit the Startup Denmark program?
Make sure that you have sufficient income to cover the costs of your first year in Denmark. If your family comes along with you, you should also prove that you can support them financially. How to apply for a Denmark Startup Visa?
The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (DAIRI) is the website where you can apply for a Denmark Startup Visa. Here’s how to apply for a Denmark Startup visa:
- Create Case Order ID
- Pay the Visa Application Fee
- Complete the Application Form
- Register Your Biometrics
- Submit the Required Documents for a Startup Visa
- Receive an Answer
The first step is to create a case order ID. By doing this, you are creating a profile for your visa application. You will need to select “Start-up Denmark” as the case type and fill out the required information (name, surname, email address, etc.). You will receive your case number shortly thereafter.Â
The application fee is DKK 1,890 (approximately €253).Â
For Startup Denmark visa applications, use the SD1 application form. Follow the instructions on how to fill out the application and what documents you need. Ensure that your documents are ready in a digital format as soon as possible.
Within 14 days of submitting your application, you will need to submit a photo and biometrics information. A Danish diplomatic mission abroad or one of SIRI’s branch offices are the two locations where you can record your biometrics.
Danish authorities can accept your biometrics if you are legally residing there. A SIRI branch office is also available for you to submit the biometrics.Â
Danish Startup Visa applicants must submit the following documents:Â
- Proof of payment of visa fees. The payment receipt should be attached
- Provide a copy of your passport (all pages)
- Proof that a panel of experts from the Danish Business Authority has approved the proposal
- Demonstration of your financial ability while in Denmark
